Liz's nonprofit background began as the Executive Director at WRC (Women's Resource Center) in Lawrence and Haverhill, Massachusetts, where she met the growing needs of women and children head on. Organizing and implementing some of the most comprehensive domestic abuse and sexual assault programs in the country. Liz expanded WRC’s Rape Crisis Program to include a child sexual assault services unit, counseling and therapeutic services to child and parent survivors of sexual abuse. She implemented a substance abuse program for women survivors in the Greater Lawrence/Haverhill, Ma. community and established a Visitation Center, where women survivors of domestic abuse could safely drop off and pick up their children in a neutral location for court mandated visitation. She also helped establish the first toll free, spanish speaking rape crisis hotline in the state, LLamanos y Hablemos.
Dan is a storyteller. As a network cameraman, he covered some of the biggest news stories in our lifetime: 9-11, Hurricane Katrina, & the war in Iraq. While with NBC News, Dan traveled aboard Air Force One, covered the Olympics in Italy & followed Barack Obama's presidential campaign. He's also delivered a wide array of marketing & entertainment-related product; joining the launch team for Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas, capturing daily "webisode" stories chronicling the 6,000 mile journey across the Atlantic. He was in Dubai for the grand opening of the Atlantis on the Palm Jumeirah Island, worked on episodic TV for A&E, shot behind-the-scenes on feature films with John Travolta & Samuel L. Jackson, & worked on national commercials with Tiger Woods, international documentaries, SMT's, VNR's, & concerts. The A-List of musicians he's worked with covers some of the biggest names in the industry: Aretha Franklin, Barbara Streisand, Janet Jackson, Earth Wind & Fire, & Stevie Wonder. Dan also traveled with Aerosmith for their "Honkin' on Bobo" tour in 2004.
